Mt. Hood from Every Angle

It's been a busy winter for us - searching for the best powder during an awesome snowy winter in Oregon. Every downtime includes jumping on snow apps and websites looking for what mountain has the most recent good snow forecast.

Some of our latest adventures have been hitting the slopes around Mt. Hood, so we wanted to designate a post just to that. From night skiing to morning hiking, we've seen Hood from almost every angle. MLK Day afforded fresh powder, good friends and a night of snowy skiing at Meadows. Two weeks later, Perry and I adventured together to Ski Bowl for a second night of snowy skiing and my first attempt jumping in the terrain park (nailed it!). Our latest trip was snow free, but rather a gorgeous blue sky, sunny morning on Boy Scout Ridge. Just take a sneak peak at our pictures and you'll see what I mean - absolutely gorgeous.

So hats off to you, Mt. Hood. Thank you for our adventures on your terrain... so far.

Lastly, I would like to introduce you to CompressionZ - the new company for the best outdoor compression gear I've ever used. I'm highly impressed with their comfortable and versatile gear. I've abused their shirts, socks and pants on multi-day hikes and every winter adventure we've gone on and rate them above any UnderArmour gear purchased in the past. Two thumbs up!
